Oscar's, Marstrand
The Tourist Hotel and the entertainment venue Oscar's on Marstrand, which was demolished in 2019, will now be Block Oscar. The hotel was built 1897 and one of the co-owners was King Oscar II. The hotel has been a popular place for summer guests for over 100 years.
Having history in mind, 22 exclusive condominiums are now being built in the same style, and on the same areas where the Oscars, the Tourist Hotel and the associated houses once stood. The façade facing the harbour is recreated exactly as it looked in the 1920s and the interior is also typical of the time and hand-painted in turn-of-the-century style.
The other buildings have inspiration from the Marstrand buildings and a modern classic style. Kitchen, bath and storing in gray tones, Carrara marble and brass.
